Good value
This product is a very good value for the money. However, there are a couple of things I would change on it. The LCD is not high enough contrast and is difficult to read in all but the best lighting. The time zone setting is always showing in the digital time and alarm mode, this is unnecessary. There is no backlighting for the LCD so in low light it is useless in all but bright light.
Update (9/3/2010): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen. I also found some auctions for this item here.

Great Watch with a 4.5 stars
For the price of the watch, its a great buy overall.
Pro
- Quick shipping.Arrive within 2 days or ordering.
- Great watch for the price ($38)
- Has world time for many of the cities I care about. e.g Singapore
and Tokyo. Total about 20 cities.
- Watch looks nicer than in the pictures.
- The LCD display is not too bright, does not distract from
looking at the analog display.
- Has a coutdown timer. I have found many uses for this.
- Alarm can be set for a specific city time. When I travel, I can still
alway have the alarm tracked to my home city or the city I am in.
- Water resistant.
- Took me no more than 10 minutes to adjust the straps.
Cons (minor)
- Need to individually set the daylight saving time to on/off for all
the US cities (about 5 or so).
- Countdown timer starts at 60 mins. There is a button to decrease
this timer downwards. If you miss the number, need to cycle through
back from 60mins. No button to increase the number.
However, it takes no more than 10 secs to cycle through.
- A little pricey on shipping. About $9.
Cons (medium)
- No lighting for the LCD display; hard to read LCD display
unless in bright light.

Great watch, except in the dark
This is a great product. It looks stunning, feels fantastic, and is extremely economical. I’m confident that it is the best slide-rule watch for the price.
The only complaint I have is about its visibility in the dark. In my case, the glow in the dark portions are pretty weak, though I have heard others say that theirs are outstanding. There is also no lighting for the digital portions. I don’t mind any of this too much, as I primarily need my watch during the day.
If you’re looking for a good looking and feeling watch that won’t break your wallet, this is without a doubt what you want… unless you really need to see it in the dark.
